Here is the latest from Trinity Rescue Mission:

SCHEDULE CHANGE: Due to bad weather, our HUGE Yard Sale has been rescheduled for 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Normandy Park Baptist Church, located at 7050 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. There is still time to donate your items for the sale!  If you have items   that you would like to donate, please contact bluxenberg@trinityrescue.org .

TRINITY WORKS RECYCLING AND SALVAGE:  Trinity Works Recycling and Salvage is an enterprise initiative of TRM that helps fund mission programs by picking up large loads of things like furniture, scrap metal, appliances, pallets and foreclosure/tenant clean outs. Our goal is to focus on large loads of items that can be used, recycled or sold to help the mission. We have a three step process in assessing large loads for pick up: 1. Can we use it or give it to someone in need? 2. Can we sell it to generate funds for programs? 3. Can we recycle it to generate funds for programs? We take almost everything that can be used, sold or recycled if we have the ability to process it. If we cannot use, sell or recycle the items, we also offer clean-up and haul off service for a cost. Call 904-662-1310 if you think you can help. As always, household loads of clothing and food items should still be dropped off at the mission. 

HOT WEATHER NEEDS:  With the increase in temperature, we see a huge increase in the number of people we help each day. The following are some of our most needed items during the summer months:

Soap, Towels & Washcloths, Shampoo, Bottled Water, & Sunscreen. If you would like to help, you can bring your donations directly to the mission or contact jcouch@trinityrescue.org for more details.
