TRM Lifeline Program

The Trinity Rescue Mission Lifeline Program is a transformative journey designed to break the chains of homelessness and addiction. This intensive 90-day program is structured into three 30-day segments, each with distinct goals and milestones, guiding participants toward a life of stability, faith, and purpose.

The program begins with Program Orientation, where individuals learn the expectations, structure, and core values that will shape their recovery journey. This phase establishes a strong foundation by providing housing, sustenance, and the essential support needed to begin overcoming addiction and homelessness. Participants are introduced to the structure of the program and are encouraged to build positive relationships with staff and fellow program members.

Next is Freedom Discipleship, a critical phase where participants dive deep into biblical teachings, embracing spiritual growth and discipleship. Here, they learn to apply faith-based principles to their daily lives, engage in meaningful fellowship, and cultivate the discipline necessary for long-term transformation. This segment is pivotal as it encourages individuals to reflect on the root causes of their struggles and turn to faith as a source of strength.

The final segment, Personal Growth and Goal Setting, encourages individuals to set actionable goals for their future. Participants work closely with case managers to develop life skills, plan for employment, and gain the confidence needed to reintegrate into society. Practical skills such as financial literacy, resume building, and interview preparation are emphasized to ensure they are equipped for independent living. Completion of the structured packet, adherence to program guidelines, and a commitment to spiritual and personal growth are essential to graduating from the program.

For women in the Lifeline Program, an additional layer of support is provided through the Kingdom Influence Recovery Reform (KIRR) program. Developed by Trinity Rescue Mission Lifeline graduate Aleathea Morrison, KIRR is designed to guide participants through self-discovery, personal and spiritual growth, and life transformation. Mrs. Morrison, now the Women and Children’s Center Program Manager, created KIRR from her own journey of overcoming addiction through a revitalized relationship with Jesus Christ. Since its establishment in 2016, KIRR has impacted hundreds of lives, with its 28th cycle currently in progress.

KIRR’s 12-session curriculum equips women with the knowledge and tools needed to break free from addiction, pain, and struggles. The program emphasizes peer-to-peer mentorship, ensuring long-term support and success beyond the initial recovery period. Many graduates go on to inspire transformation in others, creating a ripple effect of restoration in individuals, families, and communities.

Graduation from the Lifeline Program marks the beginning of a new chapter—one filled with hope, stability, and the potential for independence. The mission holds four graduations per year, each a powerful celebration of lives being restored and futures being rewritten. We are thrilled to announce that we recently celebrated another Lifeline Program graduation, recognizing eight KIRR graduates as well! This momentous occasion highlights the incredible strength and perseverance of those who have embraced transformation and are now stepping into a future of renewal.

Through the Trinity Rescue Mission Lifeline and KIRR programs, individuals are not just given temporary relief but are provided with sustainable solutions to reclaim their lives. The journey does not end at graduation—it is just the beginning of lasting freedom.
