August Ministry Update

Summertime Fun:  Thanks to a great donation from the Deerwood Rotary Club, the women and children of Trinity Rescue Mission have been treated to a loaded schedule of fun activities and special events this summer.  From breakfast at Golden Corral and a day at the Jacksonville Zoo, new shoes from Shoe Carnival, to a fun filled day at Adventure Landing—this has been a great summer!  On behalf of all of us at the TRM Women & Children’s Center, thank you Deerwood Rotary, Jax Zoo, Golden Corral and Adventure Landing for making lives brighter and full smiles at the WCC!

Food Service Improvements:  We have recently been blessed to benefit from many needed upgrades in our Food Services Division at the mission!  In the last several months we have installed upgraded equipment, painted and welcomed Jackie Carter, our new Food Service Manager on board.  Upgrades will continue with additional features to be added and painting in our multipurpose chapel/men’s dining hall.  Please pray for us as this work continues to make our food better and safer!

Congratulations, Amber!  We would like to say “CONGRATULATIONS” to our summer intern, Amber Boney!  Amber just graduated from Florida State University after completing her summer practicum here at Trinity Rescue Mission’s Women & Children’s Center.  While at TRM, Amber was an asset as she helped to keep our women with children on track with their case management plans and helping too many areas to list.  Amber, we will miss you!
